The botanical characteristics of Bainiu old tea plant were observed and their stylus were found different from that of Camellia sinensis L. O.Kuntze. There are three kinds of stylus in the same plant. The specimens are deposited in Department of Tea Science, College of Horticulture, South China Agricultural University.
