    Abstract:

    In the present paper,the development status,insecticidat properties and application for control of insect pests in several crops of various chitin synthesis-inhibting insecticides including benzoylphenyl ureas and buprofezin are reviewed.The problems of their applications and the prospects for these insecticides are also discussed
