    Abstract:

    This paper gives a brief account of Dual-Number and Quaternion Algebra and its signilicanoe on ipatial mechanisms and robots design.As a specimen the author studied the displacement of the spatial RCPRC five-link mechanism,deduced the calculation formulae and obtained the numerical results.
