    Abstract:

    Insecticidal activities of the essential oil from Artcmisin scoporia are first reported in this paper. By means of bioasaay,capaillene was verilied to be insecticidal component of the oil. The pbotoactivily of capillene and its inhibitory effect on esterate are alao dixussed.
