    Abstract:

    Based on reviewing mostly current researches, four general characteristics ofinduced disease resistance were summarized. These are non-specific,protec-tion-incomplete,time-dependent and energy-demanding.The mechanisms ofoccurrence of induced resistance were analyzed,and the application of inducedresistance in plant protection along with its limitation was discussed.
