Based on the ecosystematic characteristics of short rotation eucalypt plantations shown in previous researches, the paper comprehensively analyses and appraises the limiting factors to the productivity of eucalypt plantations-climate, variety, soil, fertilization, managemental measures and investment structure. The purpose of the paper is to identify optimal production programs giving out high output while also preserving eco-environment for the rational management of eucalypt plantations.
