    Abstract:

Effects of 50% and 70% shading on the growth, yield and physiology of Rumohra adiantiformis were studied. The results indicated that 70% shading treatment, in comparison with 50%shading treatment, had more obvious effect in promoting leaf growth, increasing market yield, and could raise the contents of chlorophyll a, b and total chlorophyll. The POD activity and content of K in leaves could be apparendy increased in 70% shading treatment; No obvious effect on anatomical structure of leaf, but it could apparently accelerate accumulation of cellular matters on the leaves of 70% shading treatment than that of 50% shading treatment.
