Abstract:

Three new species of fungi on Philodendron spp. were identificated during systematic investigation of the fungal disease on Araceae carried out from 1997 to 1999 in Guangzhou area. The funngi were Phomopsis philodendri Z.D.Jiang ,X.H.Zheng et P.K.Chi n. sp., Sphaeropsis philodendri X.H.Zheng et P.K.Chi n. sp. and Alternaria philodendri X. H. Zheng et P. K. Chi n. sp.. The type specimens were deposited in Mycological Herbarium of South China Agricultural University.
