By using ordinary corn and super sweet corn as test sample,the activities of sucrose synthetase and sucrose phosphate synthetase were studied at plumule stage, three leaf stage and five leaf stage. The result indicated that the activities of sucrose synthetase and sucrose phosphate synthetase increased gradually with the process of growing .In addition,the activities of two enzymes in super sweet corn were higher than those in ordinary corn.
