Abstract:

Based on ArcView Internet Map Server (IMS) and World Wide Web(WWW), the WebGIS server in Soil Information System of Guangdong province was established in the paper. Long-distance clients with common WWW browser only could visit and query easily the soil spacial information of the province. It would be helpful to serve the agriculture production more widely for the soil spacial information.
