Ecotourism is a new kind of tourism, in which plants are important resourses. In this paper, the roles of rare and endangered plants, special dominant plants and typical zone vegetations and plants with special shape, specific utilities, or deep cultural contents in ecotourism were discussed. The strategies on how to use and protect the plants were proposed.
