    Abstract:

    Indirect ELISA and PCR methods were used to detect the existence of cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), banana streak virus (BSV) and banana bunchy top virus (BBTV) respectively in cultured differentiated banana shoots, the results showed that the rate of CMV-carriers was about 2.5% by indirect ELISA, the rate of BSV-carriers was 12.5% of 40 samples by PCR, and no BBTV-carrier was found in 22 samples by PCR.
