Abstract:

The main achievements of rice space mutation breeding had been reviewed.The variation characteristics and mechanism of space mutation were summarized.Some new germplasms with specific traits and rice varieties derived from space mutagenesis were also described.The problems and application perspective of rice space mutation breeding were also discussed.
