【Objective】To identify the Orbilia orientalis collected from dead branches. 【Method】Its anamorph was isolated from the ascospores of Orbilia orientalis. 【Result and conclusion】The anamorph was identified as Drechslerella cf. brochopaga.The connection between anamorph Orbilia orientalis and teleomorph Drechslerella cf. brochopaga was established.
