Abstract:Eight new-born Chinese buffalo were used for cytoarchitectural observation of thespinal gray matter in the present study.The structural features of the spinal gray matter inthe intumescentia cervicalis were demonstrated and the exact site fo the spinal intumescentiacervicalis of the Chinese buffulo was determined to be on C3-T2.These results suggested thatthe exact site of the intumescentia cervicalis differed between the Chinese buffalo and the In-dian buffalo or other animals.The relationship between the structural features of the spinalgray matter and the exact site of intumescentia cervicalis were discussed.

Abstract:There groups of 20-day-old SPF chicks raised in isolators were vaccinated by ocu-lar instillation and oral administration with three batches of IBD BK912 lyophilized vaccinerespectively.Booster was carried out 2 weeks later with the same method.Two weeks afterthe booster,one control group and three vaccinated groups were challenged with 100BID501084A strain.Results showed 100%morbidity for the control group and 100%protectionfor the vaccinated groups.Determination of bursa index as well as protection test reveal thatthe vaccine was safe and did no harm to the bursa.

Abstract:In addition to macroscopic inspection and conventional staining,histochemicaltechnology and scanning electron microscopy were used to observe sequential morpholog-ic changes in the IBD immune process and further our knowledge of IBD.The resultsshowed that IBD vaccines of medium virulence should preferably be selected for use in areaswhere IBD was prevalent.Whether the damaged bursa would be repaired depended on thefollowing two factors:portion of lymphoid tissue remaining after damage to the bursal lym-phfolliculi,and whether or not the regeneration of the bursa occurred before bursa involu-tion.

Abstract:This experiment was conducted observe,through electron microscopy,the struc-tural changes in the integument and mid-gut of the silk worm fed with fluoride.The resultsshowed various degrees of damage in the integument and mid-gut.Vacuoles appeared inthe epithlium of the integument and precipitates appeared in the outer epidermis in some se-vere cases.The pathological changes in the mid-gut were more obvious:the structure of thecell layer became loosened,the cell vacuolated,the mitochondria void,the endoplasmicreticulum swollen,the nuclear membrane degenerated and the nucleoplasm agglomerated.The mechanism of the fluoride poisoning to the silk worm was discussed in relation to pro-viding scientific basis for the control of air pollution in sericulture production.

Abstract:生物活性初筛试验表明,肉桂精油是优良的谷物保护剂。采用0.1%~0.2%(w/w)的浓度处理小麦或麦粉,能有效地抑制玉米象、谷蠹和赤拟谷盗的种群繁殖。每头黄粉虫幼虫点滴0.1-0.5μL肉桂油,明显影响其生长发育和水分代谢。采用GC-MS方法分析了肉桂油的化学成分,活性跟踪试验表明,肉桂醛为肉桂油的主要杀虫有效成分。

Abstract:The Angoumois grain moth(AGM),Sitotroga cerealella Olivier ,severely infes-ed the stored grain of hybrid rice ,of which the susceptibility ratio was larger than the regu-lar rice.Because the hybrid rice usually had high percen tage of gaping glumes ,the newlyhatched larvae of A GM easily penetrated into the seeds.Highly significant positive correla-tion(P<0.001) between the percentage of gaping glumes and the emerging adults ,orgrain loss was found,and a significant positive correlation(P<0.05)between the gapingglumes and susceptibility index also existed. The percentage of gaping glumes increased withsusceptibility increasing and vice versa. The cytoplasmic male sterility(CMS)line susceptibleto AGM was the major factor affecting the susceptibility of hybrid rice.Development of thenew resistant CMS or restorer line with the resistance controlled by dominant gene could in-crease the resistance of hybrid rice to stored insects.

Abstract:The present study was carried out by using bagasse as the cultivated materials.After fermentation in piling ,the materials could be used to cultivate an edible fungus Pleuro-tus sa jor-caju successfully. The result which was obtained from the repeated experimentsshowed that the mycelium of Pleurotus sajor-caju grew vigorously and thickly,and had astrong vitality in the bagasse medium that mixed with a small quantity of wheat bran and aproper quantity of mud powder.This method used to cultivate Pleurotus sajor-caju wasproved to be simple and effective. By means of this method ,the edible fungus could have ashorter period of growth and higher yield,174kg of reesh mushroom from 100kg of cultivat-ed materjals.

Abstract:The effects of four NK treatments on nitrate reductase(NR)activity ,nitrate ni-trogen(NO3-N)content of leaves and curd yield in cauliflower were studied.The results in-dicated that N8K10 treatment resulted in better plant growth ,the highest curd yield and perunit leaf area curd productivity as compared with the other treatments which decreased inthe order of N8K5,N16K10,N16K5.The NR activity in leaves was higher during the curd for-mation ,while lower before flower bud differentiation and at curd harvest.The NR activityin leaves increased gradually form low to high nodes.The change trends of NO3-N contentof leaves were the same as the NR activity NK interaction caused marked effects on NR ac-tivity and NO3-N content of leaves.High N treatment could promote NR activity and de-crease NO3-N content.When N level was lowet , high K treatment could enhance NR ac-tivity and decrease NO3-N content.When N level was higher,high K treatment could de-crease NR activity and increase NO3-N content. There were no significant correlation be-tween NR activity in leaves of various growth period and curd yield.

Abstract:Thirty-six combinations were obtained by crossing eight types of homonucleus-al-loplasmic male sterile lines and their relative maintainer lines with four restorer lines,respec-tively,and the difference of male sterile cytolasmc effects with homonucleus background wascompared under split-plot experiment.The results showed :male sterile cytoplasms werefound expressing mostly negative effects on single plant yield and main agronomic charactersof F1, but a very significant difference was retained among the different cytoplasms.It wasfound that the cytoplasmic effect of O. sativa L.ind ica was better than that ofO.sativa L.f.spontanea in the study,it suggested that O. sativa L. ind ica should be priority for selectingsuperior male sterile cytoplasm. The sterile cytoplasmic effect was certainly affected by re-storer lines and the studied characters were significantly controlled by nucleo-cytoplasmic in-teraction. Therefore,selecting and breeding restorer lines with strong combining ability willstill be an important way for developing superior hybrid combination. The possibility and ne-cessity of selecting superior male sterile cytoplasm in breeding of three lines hybrid rice werealso dicussed.

Abstract:kinds of main chenical components of aroma in flue-cured tobacco were identi-fied by GC/MS. Components in cured leaves of different pH value around roots were quanti-tatively determined by GC. The main chemical components of aroma matter gained wereneopphytidiene;nicotine;solanone;benzeneacetaldehyde;1O-isopropyl-3,7,13-trimethl-2,6,11,13-tetradecaen-1-ol;cembratrienes,etc. Contents of aroma chemical components in flue-cured tobacco under different pH value were obviously different.pH value between 6.5 and7.5 was benificial to aroma quality of flue-cured,and pH value above 8.0 had an un-favourable effect on the formation of some important components of aroma matter. In addi-tion,it was possible that pH value around roots influenced aroma character of flue-cured to-bacco.

Abstract:本文利用薄层荧光扫描法定量测定了柑桔嫩稍叶片中的赤霉酸GA3。样品经过乙酸乙酯反萃取及PVP-硅藻土层析柱后,再径XAD-7柱浓缩,在经过105℃活化30min的硅胶板上,以氯仿-乙酸乙酯-冰醋酸(5:4:1)为展开剂进行展开。用浓硫酸-乙醇溶液(90:1)显色,在CS-930双波长薄层扫描仪上进行荧光扫描。GA3的平均回收率为82.4%,标准偏差为2.8%,最低检出量为5ng。

Abstract:依据溴和碘的二阶导数光谱,选择217.0nm的I^-等吸收点波长和242.4nm的I^-吸收峰波长,用于Br^-和I^-的同时测定。溴和磺标准混合液测定的误差为:Br^--0.483%~+0.714%;I^--0.405%~+0.983%。对21种离子做了干扰试验。并测定了食盐样品中I^-和Br^-的含量,样品中的回收率分别为:Br^-97.2%~101%;I^-99.6%~102%。

Abstract:Some nutrient elements in tomato plants at different growing stages were assayedby atomic absorption spectrometry. It was found that the levels of 4 microelements,namelyFe,Zn,Cu and Mn were higher in the root than the corresponding levels in the stem and leafat the seedling,vegetative growth and reproductive stages. The weighted average of Fe con-centration at the seedling stage was far above those for the vegetative growth and reproduc-tive stages. At the vegetative growth stage the weighted average levels of Zn and Cu wererather high whereas that of Mn was the lowest. The levels for the macroelements Mg,Ca,Kand Na were as follows:At all three stages of growth the Ca level of the leaf was higher thanthose of the stem and root,whereas the K level in the stem was higher than those of the rootand leaf. During growth of the tomato plant,the weighted average level of Ca showedgradual incremental increase whereas that of K exhibited incremental decrease. As toMg,for the seedling stage the content was highest in the root,for the vegetative growthstage highest in the stem,and for the reproductive stage highest in the leaf. A certain amountof Na was present also in the plant.
