Abstract:研究了玻璃占、辐竹2选、矮澄辐2号及辐包矮1号等4个华南籼稻品种的白叶枯病抗性遗传。结果表明:供试品种的抗性属多基因遗传,控制单株平均病斑长的最少基因数k=5;广义遗传力的平均hb2=78.59%;在入选率为0.05的条件下,对单株平均病斑长作负向选择,遗传进度的平均△G=-5.376±0.903(cm);4个抗/感组合的F2均出现抗性超亲的个体,平均出现率为4.24%;以不同组合F2的超亲个体相互杂交定向选择至F3,多数组合内抗性基本稳定,选择效果比抗/感单交组合好。

Abstract:Different types of photoperiod-temperature sensitive genic male sterile lines,Nongken58S,7001S,5047S.Peiai64S,AnnongS-1and 5460S were used to observe the individual fertility,The results showed that except AnnongS-1,the highly significant difference of fertility among florets of a plant was found in other seven male sterile lines.The differenee of fertility among florets was not effectively reduced by continually bagging single plant.A few selfing seeds were found during sterile pe-riod,The selfing seeds distributed randomly on panicle and possessed photoperiod-temperature sensitive sterility like original male sterile lines after they were planted.

Abstract:DNA模板为IBV广东地方株D41经病毒RNA提取后反转录而获得;两引物为IBV Beaudette株S1基因两侧的对应序列;跨幅为1.7kb。当限制性引物(Oligo 3’)终浓度为0.8mg/L、两引物比例为1∶10时,即得到不对称PCR的预计单链和双链DNA产物。此研究结果及不对称PCR反应条件为国内首次报道。

Abstract:The lumbosacral and caudal protions of the spinal cords from 8 new-bornblack and white dairy cattle were stained in toto with toluidine blue or withNissl mixture for cell bodies after being divided into segments.And then,all thespinal cords were cut transversely by paraffin sectioning.It was found thatthere were 15 nerve nuclei in the spinal gray matter of the lumbosacral andcaudal portions in the dairy cattle.There were the nucleus marginalis,thesubstantia gelatinosa,the nucleus proprius,the nucleus reticularis and major part ofthe nucleus dorsalis in the dorsalis in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord;theminor part of the nucleus dorsalis,the nucleus intermedio-medialis and thenucleus intermedio-lateralis in the intermediate zone;the sacral parasympatheticnucleus.the nucleus commissuralis.the nucleus ventromedialis,the nucleusdorsomedialis.the nucleus ventrolateralis,the nucleus dorsolateralis,the nucleusretrodorsolateralis and the nucleus centralis in the ventral horn.The nervenuclei of the dairy cattle and other animals including human are also comparedin this paper.

Abstract:In vitro inhibitory tests showed that the minimal inhibitory concentrations(MICs)of norfloxacin,ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin,gentamycin and chloramphenicol were0.2,0.025,0.1,0.4 and 12.8 mg/L for Salmonella pullorum, respectively Followingtreatment with norfloxacin (50mg/L),ciprofioxacin(50 mg/L),enrofloxacin(50mg/L),gentamycin(50mg/L)and chloramphenicol(500 mg/L)via the drinkingwater for 5 successive days, tbe curative rates of the above five drugsfor S.pullorum infected chicks were 100%,100%,100%,86.7% and 86.7%,respectively.In the S.pullorum infected and untreated group,the mortality ofchicks was 43.3%.There were significantly differenee in weight gains betweenthe gro ups given ciprofloxacin,enrofloxacin and groups given norfloxacin.gentamycin and chloran1phenicol.

Abstract:By analysing the susceptibility of different development stages of citrus leafminer,Phyllocnistis citrella,to insecticides and investigations into the correlation of leafminer population structure in field and the shoot length,the optimum spraying time indicated by shoot length was discussed.It found that the early stage of leafminer(including egg,the first and second instar larvae)were relatively susceptible to the five insecticides used,and the third instar larvae was relatively tolerant compared with the early stage.The results of estentses activity bioassay by the improved filter paper dot-spot test showed that the estenaes activity of the individuals of different development stages was negatively correlated with their susceptibility to insecticides.The correlation of the population structure in field and the shoot length of sweet orange(citrus chinensis)illustrated that the insect number in early stage was sound dominant in the population when the shoot length was less than 9.5 cm,whereas the inseet number of other stages was relatively even when the shoot length was more than 9.5 cm.The insect number in early stage reached 600 per hundred shoots when the shoot length was 4.5 and 10.5cm.It was emphasized that chemical control of citrus leafminer on sweet orange should be focused on the time when the shoot length was less than 9.5cm and the optimum spraying time was in 5.0 and 11.0cm of shoot length.

Abstract:The Meloidogyne incognita has become the most important pathogen of theroot-knot nematode disease of sugarcane in Zhanjiang and Panyu ofGuangdong.Second-stage of the species infected the roots of young shoot ofsugarcane.Five or six giant cells formed in the stele.Adjacent cells were stimulatedto divide resulting in forming either big or small root-knots.Root systems ofsugarcane plant infested by the disease were easily decay;stalks were thin and short;the foliages became yellowish in color that resembled the plant with deficient in ap-plied at 4.5kg(ai)/hm2 increased 10.7 percent in yield.

Abstract:The effects of selective and wide-spectrum pesticides on the population dynamics ofcitrus red nite,Panonychus citri McGregor were studied by means of the methods oflife table in this paper.Treatment with the wide-spectrum pesticide(fenvalerate)incitrus orchards brought about the reemergence of citrus red mite in a short time be-cause of killing a lot of natural enenues.Meanwhile,the density of the pestdecreased in the orchards treated by the selective pesticide(hexythiazox).The intrin-sic capacity of increase rates(rm)of the mite population were 0.0625 and-0.0118after treatments of fenvalerate and hexythiazox,respectively.The densities of naturalenemies were very low in the orchards treated by fenvalerate while the reverse resultswere observed in the orchards where hexythiazox was applied.

Abstract:The green peach aphid Myzus persicae(Sulzer)is a major pest on vegetables,crops and peach in China.The nymphs of the aphid were reared for two successivegenerations on five different hosts viz. lettuce(Lactuca sativa),crowndaisy chrysnathemum(Chrysanthemum coronarium),tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum,Linn.),mustard(Brassicaalboglabra Bail.)and radish(Raphanus sativus L.)to study the effects of hostplants on the suseeptibility to insecticides.Results of laboratory experiments showedthat when sprayed with 0.39 % of rotenone(isolated from Derris root),the aphidsfeeding on radish were the most tolerant to this botanical insecticide,while thosefeeding on lettuce were the most susceptible to this insecticide. Treatment withdimethoate showed similar results.Possible mechanism for the responses to the twoinsecticides,induced by food plants and their sigificances to field application ratesin relation to IPM program were discussed.

Abstract:The bacterial wilt(Pseudomonas solanacearum)of eucalyptus(Eucalyptus tereticornis)and equisetum(Casuarina equisetifolia)are important diseases in South China. This paper reports the bactericidal effect of antibacterial peptide from the Chinese oak silkworm(Antheraea pernyi)on the pathogens of bacterial wilt of eucalyptus and equisetum. Antibacterial peptide was induced in Chinese oak silkworm pupae by injecting Escherichia coli K12D31.Antibacterial peptide was purified from the haemo-lymph with CM-Sepharose CL-B6 and phenyl sepharose 4B. The purified antibacterial peptide had a molecular mass of a substanee of 4000 u and was labelled with fluo-rescent yellow. The pathogens wers treated with 10 mg/L of antibacterial peptide and observed under the scanning electron microscopy and laser scanning confocal imaging system to study how the antibacterial peptide inhibited and killed the bacteria.The result showed that the primary taget was the cell membrane. the fluorescent substances aggregated surrounded and embraced the surface of the bacterial membrane.then permeated into the cell and distroyed the membrane. Some small channels were found on the surface of the cell, the intracellular substances were forced out of the cell and finally the cell became empty and died.

Abstract:Cordyceps brasiliensis was collected in Guandong Province and inoculated into pupae ofBombyx mori.,and artificial culture of Cordyceps brasiliensis was successfully achieved.Themethod of artificial culture using the pupa of Bombyx mori.is described in this paper.Theergosterol,mannitol,adenosine,amino and microelement content of the artificially cul-tured Cordyceps brasiliensis was similar to that of Cordyceps sinensis.It had thepharmacologic effect of enhancing immunity and decreasing serum cholesterol in experimentalanimals.

Abstract:Photoactivated insecticides show great potential as new resources of biorational insecticides.The discovery of phototoxins in plants provides new thinking in understanding the relationship between insects and their host plants.It is suggested in this paper that the avoiding light habit and the spe-cial body characteristics of Noctuidae larvae are due to feeding plants con-taining phototoxins for long period.This is the result of coevolution between insects and their host plants.
