Abstract:Crossing Yids, a rice with short day low temperature induced male sterile(SDLTR), withsome indica rice varieties as male parent, the F1s were all purple color no matter how the leaf edge colorof male parent was. This trait was very useful to distinguish false hybrid rice from true hybrid rice.Through preliminary genetical analyses, the results showed: 1) The genetic pattern of leaf edge color fitin with dominance-complementary effect controlled by two pairs of genes. 2) The leaf edge color of F1swere different with different indica rice as male parent. 3) If crossing Yids with japonica rice as maleparent, the leaf edge color of F1s were green, its reason should be studied further.

Abstract:The virulence specialization of rice blast fungus, Magnaporthe grisea, was identified by using the supplementory rice varieties and hybrid rice combinations. Several dominant Chinese-races identi-fied using the Chinese differential varieties, such as ZA13, ZB13, ZC13, and ZC15, all could be furtherseparated into different pathotypes (subraces). The results suggested that the conventional method by using representative races to evaluate the resistance of rice varieties had its limitation.

Abstract:One hundred and thirty five strains of Ralstonia solanacearum fiom 15 different host plantswere test for bacteriocin productivity by using strains Tm46, Tb32 and M1 as indicators. Strains Tm46,Tb32 and M1 were highly virulent to tomato, tobacco and mulberry respectively. The results indicatedthat about 43. 7% of the isolates tested were able to produce bacteriocin in PSA agar medium with different specificities. Some strains such as Tm3, Tb30 and Eu1 had relatively wide inhibiting spectrum.These results would be useful to search for biological control agents of plant bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum.

Abstract:The samples of root-knot nematodes were collected fran 3 gardening plants in Guangzhou andDongguan cities in Guangdong province. Abstract:The significant antifeeding action and poisoning of the extracts from Myoporum bontioides against Pieris rapae L. were reported in this paper. The antifeeding rate with 1% methanolic extract andpetroleum ether extract from leaves and stems were above 90% against 3rd instar lareae, and 80% ~86% and 46% ~ 65% against 4th and 5th instar larvae of the insect pest in no-choice tests, respectively. After treatment with methanolic extract and petroleum ether extract in 72h, 86. 1% and 88. 5% ofmertality were obtained, respectively. The LC50 of the extract partitioned with chloroform and methanolfrom methanol extract against 4th instar larvae were 0. 63% and 1. 39%, respectively. In four days aftertreatment, with 1% chloroform extract partitioned from methanol extract, the average weight of 5th instarlarvac was 38. 05% of that in control, and the emergence rate of adult was 4.00% and the rate of growthinhibition was 88. 89%.

Abstract:采用自行设计的带酶切位点的上下游引物,用PCR技术,从大肠杆菌TACC23743的DNA中,获得了含有编码尿嘧啶DNA糖苷酶(UNG)基因的PCR产物,以该PCR产物构建了重组克隆质粒pGEM/UNG,DNA序列分析结果确证其中含有完整的UNG基因。利用该重组质粒,进一步构建了重组表面质粒pBV/UNG。

Abstract:Breeder pigs including American-lines Landrace, Large White, Duroc, Hampshire and line 24 were selected and bred by systematic ally. Continuing tests of the 6 generations selected in 10 years indicated the pigs accomplished the goals of the breeding program. Breeding pigs showed multifarious charecters, i. e. high prolificacy, fast growth rate and high production efficiency. Dam line breeder swine (Landrace and Large White) exhibited evident estrous signs, tame temperament, high conception rate,large litter size, with live birth averaging 10. 37 and 10. 86, and 21-day litter mass averaging 54. 23 and 58. 81kg, for Landrace and Large White respectively. Fast growth was expressed by sire line boars which achieved maximum daily gain of up to 1020 g during test Peried. In addition the boars also attained good performance regarding to feed conversion efficiency and leannss with lean rate reaching 65. 3%, Commereial pigs produced by cross combinations of Duroc x Landrace x Large White and Duroc x Large White x Landrace expressed high heterosis and took 165 days to reach 90 kg of market mass.

Abstract:A negative correlation was found between the calcitum content in litchi leaves and the rate of fruit cracking. The exchangeable calcium in the soil and the calcium contents in the leaves and fruit peel were significantly lower comparing the orchards where fruits severely cracked with the orchards of light fruit cracking. The calcium content in cracked fruits was significant higher than that in the normal fruits.Sprays with a solution containing calcium compounds increased significantly the calcium levels in the leaves and fruit peel, and significantly lowered fruit cracking rate. Water-stress reduced the calcium accumulation in fruit peel especially in the rapid growth of aril, and thus increased the fruit-cracking rate.It suggested that increasing calcium contents in leaves and the fluit peel should lower fruit-cracking in litchi.

Abstract:Changes of endogenous gibberellins (GA4 + 7 ), cytokinin (ZRs), auxin(IAA) levels and fruit growth pattern were studied during fruit development of longan (Dimocarpus longan Lour. cv. Chuliang), and the relationships between endogenous hormones and fruit development were discussed. The results showed that the ZRs contents in skin and seed were high in the early stage of fruit development and low in the late stage; the IAA content was very low before 29 days after full bloom(DAFB) and rose to a high level after 44 DAFB; the peaks of GA4+7 were found on 14,44 and 92 DAFB, while the low content occurred on 29 and 60 DAFB, respectively. According to the results, it seemed that the high ZRs level in the early stage was correlated with cell division; low IAA and GA4+7 content might be associated with the physiological drop of longan fruits; high level of IAA might promote fruit expansion.

Abstract:在人工气候室中,低温胁迫引起香蕉和大蕉叶片组织中可溶性蛋白质的组分发生明显变化。SDS-PAGE图谱分析表明;当温度降至1℃时,香蕉叶片中分子组成分别约为1.13×10^5和6.45×10^4的2种多肽含量明显增加,并新增加一种分子组成约为1.20×10^5的多肽。低温胁迫下大蕉的表现基本与香蕉的相似,只是分子组成约为1.20×10^5的多态在10℃时已隐约出现。推测该多肽可能与香蕉和大蕉的抗冷性

Abstract:The inhabitant activities of shaddock peel extracts (SPE) against bacteria, yeasts and molds were studied. the rcsults showed that SPE had strong inhabitant activities against Bacillus thurrngiensis,Staphylococcus aureas and bacteria from pickle, but weak against Escherichia coli, Salmenella entenitidis,Aspergillus niger and no inhabitant effects against Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Rhodo torula, Penicillium glaueus. The variation of pH did not significantly affect the functions of SPE on microorganisms.

Abstract:When the PVP(Polyvinylpyrrolidone) was used in pretreatment of sugareane explant and usedas an additive in medium, a positive result was obtained which prevented brown turning and necrosis ofinoculum. Meanwhile, it was found that the proliferous rate of differentiated bud was delayed when thePVP concentration in the medium increased in a certain extent. Abstract:Dry matter accumulation and partition, growth relationship between upper and underground organs, and vegetative and reproductive organs in vine and dwarf asparagus bean [ Vigna unguiculata W.ssp. sesquipedalis (L.) Verd. ] were studied. The results showed that dry matter of plant and organs were increasing, in S trend, during growth and development. Dry mater accumulation of vine asparagus bean were more than dwarf asparagus bean, and that of white pod cultivar were more than green pod cultivar of vine asparagus bean. During growth and development, dry matter partitioned to root were decreasing, the ratios of upper/underground organs were increasing; with the center of dry matter partitioned shifted for stem and leaf to flower and pod, the ratios of reproductive/vegetative organs and reproductive/assimilatory organs were increasing. The three ratios of vine asparagus bean were higher than dwarfasparagus bean, and green pod cultivar were higher than White pod cultivar.

Abstract:Effects of 50% and 70% shading on the growth, yield and physiology of Rumohra adiantiformis were studied. The results indicated that 70% shading treatment, in comparison with 50%shading treatment, had more obvious effect in promoting leaf growth, increasing market yield, and could raise the contents of chlorophyll a, b and total chlorophyll. The POD activity and content of K in leaves could be apparendy increased in 70% shading treatment; No obvious effect on anatomical structure of leaf, but it could apparently accelerate accumulation of cellular matters on the leaves of 70% shading treatment than that of 50% shading treatment.

Abstract:The paper analyses the relationship between wood production cycle and price of forestland.The results show that the revenue of wood production is determined by price of forestland, and that the assessment methods of forestland assets are different from production processes of forest. Abstract:Municipal sewage treatment plant produces a lot of waste activated sludge(WAS) containing high concentrations of metal-ion and other harmful material when it cleans sewage. How to dispose and utilize sludge has attracted wide concern. A valuable innovative suggestion is that some WAS be used as absorbent and retumed to the primary cldrifier to decrease the content of metal-ion in the sewage and sludge. This study aimed at doing some absorption experiment in the laboratory in order to elucidate adsorption patterns and the optimal values of factors involved. The result indicated that WAS exhibited potential for Cu2+ and Zn2+ adsorption.

Abstract:Heat pump dehumidifying and thermal airflow drying equipment were used to carry out drying tests on Flammulina valutipes by means of quadratic cross rotary regression design. The pattern of the effect of (1)mean airflow velocity, (2)material water content at the change over point from heat pump dehumidifying to thermal airflow drying and (3) temperature of thermal airflow on dehydration rate, energy consumption and rehydration rate of dried peoduct was probed.
