It's very important to correct the misallocation of land resources for improving the efficiency of land resource allocation and regional economic growth. Marginal analysis method and extended C-D production functions were applied.The paper constructs one model to measure measure the benefits losses of land resources misallocation.Using the model, we discussed the benefit losses of land resource misallocation and its changing characteristics in China from 2000 to 2016.At last,we proposed targeted strategies to correct the misallocation of land resources.The results show:From 2000 to 2016 in China, the benefit loss rate of land resource sector misallocation decreased from 3.29% to 0.56%, and the benefit loss rate of spatial misallocation decreased from 9.34% to 4.60%.The sector misallocation index of land resource is smaller than the spatial misallocation, but the sector misallocation benefit loss of land resource is greater than the spatial misallocation. In 2016, the average annual benefit loss of land resource sector misallocation was 1915.32 billion yuan and the average annual benefit loss of land resource spatial misallocation was 589.39 billion yuan.There were significant regional differences in the types, causes and losses of land resource misallocation in China, and the degree of misallocation in the central and western regions were larger, but the benefit losses of land resource misallocation is mainly concentrated in the eastern region.the benefit losses of land resource misallocation was highly negatively correlated with the level of economic development.Main research conclusions:The status of and resource misallocation has been significantly improved, but the benefit loss is still serious, affecting regional economic growth. Improving the development level of regional socio-economic could alleviate the benefit losses of land resource misallocation.Demonstrating the value of agricultural sector products and agricultural land assets could mprove the marginal revenue of agricultural land.And it was the fundamental path to correct land resource sector misallocation.Differentiated regional development strategy and differentiated land policy were effective and necessary ways to correct the spatial misallocation of land resources.
