The adjustment and transformation of the private lives of rural youths is an important part of the country"s reshaping of rural society in order to achieve modernization. The practice of private life, as an element of the main construction of rural youth, is often hidden under the traditional rural social structure and cultural model. After the founding of New China, with the acceleration of rural social transformation and modernization, private life was gradually separated from the traditional network of relationships and emerged independently. Among the many factors driving the emergence of the private life of rural youth, the mass media plays an important role. In the early days, the mass media mostly existed in the role and function of power mediation. As mass media gradually became embedded in the daily life and communication of rural youths, mediaization became the core mechanism for mass media to influence the private lives of young people. It is in this process that the practical experience and consciousness of private life undergo important changes, which at the same time have an impact on the reconstruction of the relationship between private life and public life.
