Abstract:Using the Citespace as the bibliometric analysis tool to study the 624 articles on peasants organization included in the CNKI database in September 2021, it is found that the time distribution of the peasants organization research in China has experienced an initial stage (before 2000) , a rapid growth stage ( 2000-2010) and the gentle advancement stage (2010-present) three periods. Research hotspots focus on economic rationality, rural governance, rural revitalization, and organizational dilemmas and their resolution. The path of research evolution shows that the research enthusiasm has distinct phases of the times and policy orientation, the research perspective has changed from focusing on peasant households' benefit connection to caring for the overall development of the village, and the research method has changed from standard research to empirical research. Possible reasons for the evolution of the research path include: changes in the international environment and adjustment of national strategies at the national level, the transformation of agricultural modernization and the development of rural society at the social level, and the escalation of the needs for the growth of interests to all-round development at the individual level.
