The construction of age-appropriate villages is conducive to solving the practical problems of aging labor, weakening of development ability and increasing demand for old-age services faced by rural revitalization in the context of aging. Existing studies equate the construction of age-appropriate villages with the old-age security of village communities under the leadership of the government, which makes the construction of age-appropriate villages lack the ability of sustainable development. This paper takes the practice of elderly care in Wuxin Village in Qiannan Province as an example, and proposes a path for the construction of villages suitable for the elderly for village management. Relying on the internal and external resource integration mechanism, the multi-subject interaction mechanism, and the multi-benefit production mechanism to promote the development of the "old and rich synergy" in the countryside, it provides an experience demonstration for the central and western villages to carry out the construction of the elderly and realize the activation of the endogenous development momentum of the countryside. Accordingly, it is suggested that the grassroots government should clarify the value leading position of the elderly rural ethics and the function of village management in the process of age-appropriate construction from the value level. At the same time, a grassroots micro-autonomy platform led by party building and actively participated by the elderly should be built in the process of practical operation, so as to form a multi-level bottom-up mechanism for villagers" participation and response to demands.
