Abstract:The present status of research on radiology of the spine of large domestic animal are reviewed.Apart from studies on the radiographic technique and the normal radiographic anatomy of the spine, some conditions, including congenital deformities of the spine, fractures and dislocations, osteoarthritis of the spine and ossifying spondylosis, and crowding and overriding of the dorsal spinous processes, were studied for diagnostic purposes.The clinical and radiographic signs are also briefly described.
